What are the steps to organise my current VW campervan, new or pre-owned van for conversion with Ecowagon?

It’s quite straight forward. Just follow the follow the steps below. Easy!

Take a look at our campervan conversions. Found one you like?

It’s worth looking at the specs and options for each Ecowagon VW conversion. Generally speaking for us there is little difference in fitting our bespoke units and beds in a T5 or T6. Things do change a little when it comes to electricals and other kit so it’s worth a chat with us (always happy to do that).

We ceased converting T4’s in 2016. Why? Well, we need to forge ahead with modern technology and many of our systems are incompatible with VW T4’s.

We have dealer network access to over 300 VW T6 Transporters. Pre-reg, new or pre-owned, chances are we have the perfect van for your dream Ecowagon conversion. Great deals and excellent value.

If you choose this option then our affiliate in the VW dealer network will ask you to view the VW Transporter. When you find the van of your dreams you can arrange to have it delivered to us. The delivery fee is usually around £150.00 + VAT but may differ from supplier to supplier.

Give us a call and book a slot for your conversion, or, ask a few questions.

At this stage we can book your van into the workshop. Each booking slot has a £1,000.00 deposit fee. If you change your mind then this deposit is refundable within 14 days, after that it’s non-refundable.

Deliver your van to us or arrange to have it delivered.

If you need help getting your VW van to us then just ask, we might be able to help. There is a fee for this service and it is dependent on your distance from us. 99% of our customers drive their VW Transporter to Ecowagon near Redruth, Cornwall and enjoy a short break in Cornwall.

It’s worth noting that your van will be masked and protected (very carefully) during the conversion stage. We ask that your VW van arrives clean. No need to polish it but it’s a good idea to thoroughly pre-jetwash, shampoo clean and then jetwash your vehicle, even underneath if you can. If you don’t have the time or facilities to do this then there is £60.00 charge for a thorough pre-conversion clean.

We now ask for a 50% deposit for your conversion.

You’ll understand that we are purchasing equipment for your conversion, some of it very expensive so this 50% deposit is non-refundable.

Ecowagon 3 Year WarrantyWe always look after our customers. Kit that really works is specified but if something goes wrong we will fix it under our three year warranty. It’s worth noting that our warranty extends to equipment installed by us and the workmanship we provide. Your van may be covered by the balance of your manufacturers warranty or any extended warranty you’ve arranged.

Your vehicle will be presented to you fully valeted, ready to drive away with pride.
